03 — The field
Eight teams. One draft.
Everyone enters the same pool. Eight captains each pick three men and three women to build the inaugural field — no Gold, no Silver.
Captains are pre-selected at the 5.0+ level. They are the official lead of their team — non-playing — and will scout during scramble play before making their picks. The draft balances the teams; there is no combined team rating to meet.
04 — What to expect
Scramble. Then the live draft.
From 12:00–2:00 PM, you'll play an organized Scramble format — rotating partners and opponents throughout the afternoon. You'll compete in both gendered and mixed doubles, so captains can evaluate players across a variety of matchups while building their draft strategy.
At 2:00 PM, we gather for the LIVE Wild Donkey Draft. Each captain selects 3 men and 3 women to build the inaugural tribes. Four of the six play each match night — two men, two women. Whether you're called with the first pick or the final pick, every player plays an important role — and the season officially begins.
